We're making history!

There had never been an intercollgiate tournament in disc golf on the West Coast...until 2006!

We welcome students attending any two- or four-year instuition of higher education (e.g. community colleges, universities). If you or your college wants to play next year, contact us at discgolf@csumb.edu

The 2009 tournament was a collection of otters, ducks, lancers and slugs. We welcomed players from the University of Oregon, Pasadena City College, and UC Santa Cruz to the campus. After combinations of match and stroke play to determine the final round, CSUMB defended the Stancil Johnson Cup against Oregon in a 9-2 in match play

The 2008 tournament was a team match play, similar to 2007, and we again saw the Banana Slugs of UC Santa Cruz come down . CSUMB retained the cup again 15 1/2 to 6 1/2, and we agreed to bi-weekly tournaments between the two schools.

The 2007 tournament was a team match play, with singles on the Cypress course and doubles on the Oaks course. That year brought down the Banana Slugs of UC Santa Cruz for their second attempt at the Stancil Johnson Cup. CSUMB retained the Cup for the second year in a row with a match play win over UCSC, 12 1/2 to 7 1/2.

The 2006 inaugural tournament was a match play event between CSUMB, UC Santa Cruz and Santa Clara University. Thanks for pioneering and braving a cold morning!
