Play in Monterey!
The 18-hole Don Dahvee Disc Golf Course in Monterey is officially open for play!
The 18-home Ryan Ranch Disc Golf Course in Monterey is the newest and most challenging course on the Peninsula.
We Made History!
DEC 2006 : It was the Otters of CSU Monterey Bay, the Banana Slugs of UC Santa Cruz, and the Broncos of Santa Clara University in the first ever intercollegiate disc golf tournament on the West Coast!

Second Basket Course
- With the help of the Monterey Stinging Jellies Disc Golf Club, Merle Witvoet mapped out and created The Oaks Course for the NorCal Championships in September 2006, using temporary baskets.
- We used this course with permanent baskets for the Annual CSUMB Otter Open.
- Within the CSUMB Master Plan, the new course is located southwest of the new Library, in native shrub and California live oak.
- Contact Merle for more information about sponsoring a tee sign to sponsor the baskets!
- The current Cypress Course baskets will remain in place, but the old post course will disappear as a result of the building of the Staff/Faculty housing to the north (starting Summer 2005).
See you on the Courses!
