Fanime Meeting
This is the MANDATORY Fanime meeting for all those who wish to go with the CSUMB Anime Club. If you haven't heard, the one key perk is if you go with the club, the club pays for your room. That means more money for food, more money for the dealer's room and more! You don't want to pass this chance up, so stick around after the March 30 meeting where we will set additional meeting dates and get head counts of who is going.

First Meeting of the Year!
What better way to kick off the year than with Nadesico: Prince of Darkness (info), raffles, prizes, and photos from the summer's conventions? We will also do some introductions and after the showing talk for a bit about what big things we want to do in the year to come.

Kelp Kraze!
CSUMB Anime Club will be at the On Campus Admissions Day / Kelp Kraze festival again this year. Last year we had DDR and Para Para, plus raffles all day long (with a grand prize of a Preacher figurine box set). We won for the best booth at Kelp Kraze, netting us a $200 prize for the club! This year, we are going to top even that!

Pumpkin Carving and Cosplay Meeting
In addition to our already planned meeting, we will be holding a pumpkin carving contest and a cosplay competition throughout the meeting. The cosplay competition will take place during the intermission break, and will consist more of a costume exhibition than anything else. Prizes include wallscrolls, clearfiles, pencilboards, and posters! All the more reason to be a part of the excitement and fun. Full details will be sent out in the weekly club newsletter.

Mountain Mike's Pizza Night!
Come out and support the CSUMB Anime Club in the community! We will be at Mountain Mike's Pizza in Marina (off of Reservation Road, Albertson's Shopping Center) from six until ten pm! We will have anime, we will have fun, and if you come with your appetite and buy pizza you are also supporting the club! 10% of every purchase rolls right back into the CSUMB Anime Club. What a deal!
